ALL PAWS RESCUE:
– Check Presentation complete
– Michelle could not make it due to a dog needing rescue
– Jay from All Paws represented on her behalf
– Michelle said she would like to post a TY to BAJA
MERCHANDISING:
– Caps – different colors
– Touques in the works
– lots of inventory for the summer
– baja key chains available
– please purchase our BAJA swag & gear
– 50/50 doing well – next week is the draw
ELECTIONS Update:
– 2016 BAJA Elections to be held on Tuesday July 5th
– Admin position still vacant – hope to fill at election time
– Candidates & Nominees needed now
– Committee positions, procedures and controls are well repaired and 100% operationally functional now
– next committee that takes over will have another perfect hand off
– Bruno will not be re-running as treasurer as per his work schedule does not permit
– This year committee to committee hand off will be done correctly – Angelo to monitor this in every position
Other Items:
– meet was small tonight. 15 jeeps and about 20 members
– meet was fun, sarcastic and members were engaged
– members expressed their voice and appreciation of the “no drama” topic, “keep up the good work” was the consensus
– Jeremy – Venezuela Cheap Jeep parts. Jeremy will post details
– car show moved next door, not all bad, more traffic
– an idea was to line up all the jeeps facing the car show, when spectators walk around they can pass by and appreciate our jeeps as well – members please post your thoughts
